Biography

Axel Angeli is a veteran in the IT sector. He started his own business in IT in 1984 as a consultancy for computing in medical sciences, mainly taking care of mathematical analyses for clinical trials. Working for health institutes brought him to work with Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. It soon led into travelling the world to both deploy solutions and manage projects, not only for health care but for the wider range of industries.

By 1990 he more and more entered the field of SAP and soon became a respected technical mentor and lead of development in a large number of projects of any size. His special interest in distributed computing made him an expert and author on integration of heterogeneous landscapes. In parallel to mentoring SAP projects and auditing SAP implementation programmes he evangelizes Service-oriented Architecture, Enterprise-Service Bus and Cloud-Computing for Ultra-Large computing landscapes (like Amazon etc.). In order to handle such large SAP projects and programmes he teaches and assists his clients in the art of complexity reduction, risk mitigation in permanently changing environments and restructuring wildly grown IT architecture. Clients can benefit in SAP Programme Management from his wide-spread experience. He is a grey-haired silver back whom you can hardly any event within a project can truly surprise. He is a great analyst and points fingers into problematic areas at an early state before they become critical or irreversible and he brings tumbling projects back on track without blaming people. He has good contacts with SAP top management and maintains a network of true IT specialists of any kind around the world.
